Program Possibility: Lounge Puzzles Michael Crosa, Resident Assistant, University of North Carolina I live
on a semi-apartment style hall in which the residents tend to do the
most of their socializing in their apartments, which can be intimidating
as an RA to get to know people. I got jigsaw puzzles and left them out
in the floor lounge, and it had been completed within two weeks. Any
time I saw somebody there working on it; I had an excuse to go sit with
them and get to know them a little bit! Once one puzzle is completed,
I use spray-adhesive to stick it on some butcher blot paper and then
hang it up in the lounge and set a new puzzle out. It's inexpensive,
easy, and it has worked great for me! |
