Program Possibility: Ball Appétit Submitted by Manuel E. Esquivel, Resident Assistant, University of the Incarnate Word Thinking of a program can be hard to do. Especially for RAs in apartment living communities. I recently did this program with my residents in an apartment living community and it was a huge success. I entitled it “Ball Appétit” because I decided to cook a meal for my residents and we all came together to watch at a local NBA basketball game. It was a great way to bring the living community together. It was a very fun and social program. As you might know, it can be very difficult to get an apartment community to come together. This idea would be a great start in bringing the apartment living community closer. This idea can be put together in a residence hall as well. |
