Door
Tag Ideas: Where are they boards
Oftentimes
staff have a “Where am I board” on their door. You can also
make one for residents. Be sure to leave a place where you can write
the name of the residents.
Here are
only a few of many ideas:
-
Clock
Supplies Needed: Brass fastener Construction Paper, markers
Instructions: Cut out a circle. Cut out an arrow for a hand
of a clock. On the top of the clock write the student’s name.
At various positions around the clock put where a student might be
(at class, dining hall, sleeping (do not disturb), I’m in, knock,
out. Then attach the hand to the middle of the circle by using the
brass fastener.
This
is a brass fastener.

Paint
Pallet
Supplies Needed: White poster board, paint, construction
paper, Velcro, brushes
Instructions: Cut out a paint pallet, put various splotches
of color on the pallet (as an artist would have). Next to each color
put where the student might be (at class, dining hall, sleeping (do
not disturb), I’m in, knock, out. Stick a piece of Velcro next
to each statement. Attach the other part of the Velcro to a small
craft paintbrush. This can be moved to the various Velcro next to
each statement. Paint the students name along the top of the pallet.
