State
License Plates

For my
first set of door tags of the year I did state license plates. I searched
online for an image of the current license plate from the state that
each resident was from. When I found the image I copied it into Word
and enlarged it. Then I put a text box over the current letters and
numbers and wrote the residents name. Underneath the name I put another
text box and entered the city the resident was from. Then over the registration
sticker I made a new sticker and inputted information like the semester,
year, city of the school, state and school name- I modeled them after
what the actual registration sticker looks like for that state. I then
printed them out and cut around the edges!
These
were a huge hit! People loved to see license plates with their names
on it and the state and city they were from. It was a great way to get
to know people and made an easy way to start a conversation. It took
some time, but it was worth it!
