The Meaning of Names Matt Jarva, Resident Assistant, Bemidji State University As a second semester door dec, I chose to go with a more personal type of door decoration. On the door dec I typed in the resident's name, room number, and the meaning of his first name. I have enclosed an example of this entitled "spring door dec". This idea was running smooth until I got to the international residents' names. It took awhile to find their meanings, but it was worth it because they loved that I had devoted the time to actually finding out what their names meant. |
