Door Tag Idea for September: Leaves

Using construction paper cut large maple leaves in bright colors with smaller leaves cut out around the edges and glue together. Write names on tags. For a corresponding bulletin board, create a passive bulletin board about the changes that come in fall with leaves that change from green to fall colors. Include information in this board about the changes your residents will face: leaving close friendships at home, independence…no parents to tell you what to do, living with a roommate, etc.
