Expert: Nancy Davis Griffin Nancy Davis
Griffin is currently the Director of Enrollment Management at St. Josephs
College of Maine, where she oversees admissions and financial aid. She
has been a student affairs professional in the northeast for over 18 years.
She likes to refer to herself as a "Jill-of-all-trades", as
she has worked in housing & residence life, student activities, judicial
affairs, first year student services, disability services, enrollment
management Nancy has a bachelors degree from the University of Southern
Maine and a Masters degree from Fairfield University. She has started
her doctoral degree at the University of Hartford. She has also worked
at Fairfield University and Western Connecticut State University. Nancy
is a recipient of the NEACUHO Best of the Northeast Award and Outstanding
Service Award. Financial
Aid Expert: Bruce C. Neimeyer Bruce C.
Neimeyer, M.A., is the Director of Graduate and Undergraduate Admission,
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Newark Campus. Mr. Neimeyer
has over 11 years of admissions experience and is currently serving as
the President of the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling
(NJACAC). In addition, he serves on
several ad hoc committees for the National Association for College Admission
Counseling (NACAC). Eight of his professional
years were spent at the University of Pittsburgh, main campus as the Associate
Director of Admissions and Financial Aid. In his capacity there he coordinated
their national recruitment efforts and administered Federal, State and
University financial aid. Mr. Neimeyer is a native of Pittsburgh, PA.
He completed his undergraduate degree from Allegheny College in Meadville,
PA. He finished his M.A. in Higher Education Administration and Policy
Studies in 1993 at The University of Pittsburgh and is currently writing
his dissertation for his Ph.D. in Social and Comparative Analysis at The
University of Pittsburgh. In addition, he has presented at several state
and national conventions on topics ranging from, "The Implementation
of Technology in the Recruitment Process," to "How to Coordinate
and Manage an Alumni Recruitment Organization." On-Campus
Living Expert: Linda Khrut Linda Khrut
has served in her present capacity as Director of Residence Life and Housing
at the University of Southern Mississippi since 1988. Her 22 years of
housing experience began as a resident assistant during her graduate education
to later being an Area Coordinator, Assistant Director and Associate Director
of Housing at the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. Prior
to her professional housing experience, she taught high school speech
and drama and served in the capacity of Guidance Counselor and Social
Director for the Mastin School of Nursing in Mobile, Alabama. Lindas professional activities include active membership and committee work in the Association of College and University Housing Officers International, the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, the Southern Association of College Student Affairs, and Mississippi Association of Housing Officers. She has served as president of the Mississippi Association of Housing Officers and has just completed her term as president of the Southeastern Association of Housing Officers, which covers a ten state region. |
